Okay, so I lied. The latkes are not going to be my first recipe. I came home from work tonight and instead of making dinner, I decided to bake a cake. This is one of my grandmother's recipes (really it's her sister's-in-law recipe (Aunt Sara)).

I think it appropriate that my first recipe should be my grandmother's potato latkes. So, sometime this week, you will see another post, hopefully with pictures, of potato latkes.
